Hi!  It's Friday and we have Amy back as our guest blogger!  She has really outdone herself with these cards, I love how she did both a feminine card and a masculine card (and we all struggle with those!) using some of our favorite Impress and Savvy products.

If you know Amy, you know that she loves coffee!  This bear is a perfect fit for this card.  Love the hearts stamped on the side as well.

This card is absolutely beautiful!  I love the gold, black with the combination of glitter paper, vellum and the gold stitching to attach the vellum!  A very striking combination! We took the designs we wanted to foil and stamped them with black ink on a sheet of card stock.  Then we simply took that sheet and made copies at our local printer (Kinko's) and had them make a copy with their laser printer.  The laser printer is the key component - it is the toner that works with the foil.

We love all of the foil colors, they are amazing!  We have been having a lot of fun with COPPER! We used the Minc to foil and it really is a great machine.  Super user friendly and it has heat temperature controls based on what paper products you might be foiling.  Honestly, we tried our laminator and it didn't work for us.

We took a few days off to go to CHA!  This year did not disappoint and we are excited with all of the new products that we found and will soon be in our store!  One of the items with a lot of buzz at the show was the MISTI.  It even won "Hot NEW item award" at CHA!  We are super excited that we just received this item last week and we will be demonstrating it this Saturday at our Tukwila location from 10:00 - 12:00.  Stop by if you have a chance!  Here are some new cards of inspiration using the new stamps from Impress.

What a great gift to give someone and it's so easy!  I just took some watercolor paper and embossed the initial in copper embossing powder.  Then I took my favorite watercolor set and colored a couple light colors along the top and let it dry.  Add a colored envelope and you have the perfect set to give to someone!
