It's Day 2 with our guest blogger, Lisa Spangler! Merry Moose-mas is the theme for today and you will not be disappointed with what Lisa created using one of our new clear moose themed sets.
I love how festive this card is and how Lisa used the stamps in this set to create different garlands. One of my favorite parts is how she used the Hero Arts neon pink ink pad to make the card pop. The other Fresh Ink colors (kale, peony and aloe) really go well together with the neon pink.
Lisa also added detail to the holly and the centers of the flowers with the pink moonlight gelly roll pen.
What a cute way to decorate an envelope! Love the added detail of using a few other gelly roll pens to make a polka dot mailbox or should I say moosebox and the neon pink tape. Everything coordinates from the card to the finishing touches on the envelope. Who wouldn't be excited to receive this in the mail?
You are going to see some beautiful and creative cards this week. It's so inspiring to see someone create a realistic scene with just a few stamps. I love how the trees are stamped, the white snow hill and the beautiful watercolor lines on the trees. Lisa stamped the birch trees using Momento gray flannel ink and then heat set it prior to watercoloring. She said she wanted to use gray to make the lines softer, like real birch.
The santa hat is a sticker and Lisa hand cut a piece of red felt for the scarf.
Be sure to join us each day and don't forget to leave a comment! All you have to do is make a comment, each day - Monday through Friday and you will be entered to win a fun prize which will include a variety of the products she used for her cards! We look forward to hearing from you!
Love the fun banner and the awesome scene on these two cards! The moose is so fun! Such delightful cards!
I love the color of these!
Super FUN! I'm a huge fan of Lisa's work!
I just love this moose in the Santa hat! The stamp on the envelope is a cute finishing touch!
The last card is my favourite one, but I love the pink moose as well!
And I have to add that I live your photos, too! ❤❤
Absolutely gorgeous!! I love both cards - so different, yet both adorable!
I like the watercolor lines on the birch trees - they add a nice realistic touch!
thanks for reminding us about bringing life to the envelope!
I love this moose set & the neon is super fun. My fav card was the last one with the Santa hat. :)
Love the fun neon and the cute moose!
I love those trees!
Moose is a adorable and I love the neon effect.
The envelope is cute.
Love that moose! Adorable cards!
I am really loving the birch trees - they look so much more realistic that those that I usually do - stamped with black ink. I'll be using my brains a bit more when stamping to get that lovely, artistic, no-lines look.
Like the trees and moose scarf!
Wow... what a different look for the moose on these cards! Thanks for sharing the unique look created with a change of ink color.
Merry Mooses are just winning my heart today! TY, Lisa!
Ack! Love the moose! Great scene.
No way, the scarf is such a cute addition. I am going to do that!
These are cards are way too much fun - need to put this set on my wish list! Makes me want to get stamping right away!! Thanks for the chance to play : )
Beautiful! LOVE the card with the birch trees!

That moose is a must!! He's just so adorable. I really like how she did the birch trees, that is the perfect touch to make those look realistic!!
[…] A touch of adding something unexpected to your cards can take them from cute to WOW. Like this adorable card from Lisa Spangler, she added a thin strip of felt when the moose’s scarf is, such a simple but clever way to make a big impact. Visit the Impress stamps blog for more info. […]
