We are thrilled to play along in the Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! We participated in the Spring hop back in March and are excited to join in the Summer fun for this hop. Summer is the theme and thought we would show you a "teacher gift" idea since it's the end of the school year and it seems like a coffee gift card is the perfect gift for all of those amazing teachers!
For this project, we used a few of our favorite stamps, Bloom where you are planted and Poppy flower with leaf on side stamped in our favorite summer colors - Fresh Ink strawberry and mint. The flower stamp has the bonus leaf stamp on the side. I used Versafine black onyx for the black cup and sentiment stamp. I love that black ink - it's so rich and perfect.
You may have noticed our hand carved coffee cup. This is what happens when I can't find a stamp. Yes, you can carve it. I have a weakness for the hand carved look. For our teacher's gift, we bought some garden gloves at Dollar Tree to go with our card. They had some fun colors and patterns and the kids loved the idea. I love to put gifts in these clear cellophane bags! They make everything look pretty!
