Dressing up your envelope!

It's wedding season and there is so much you can do to put that personal touch on even the simpliest of invitations.  The envelope is a perfect place.  There are so many great printed pattern paper that it's easy to line an evelope to match the invitation and it's really simple to do!

plain envelopes

Here are some basic envelopes.  I make a template by tracing the envelope flap onto a piece of paper, you could use a heavier weight paper since you'll be using this to trace.  Then, you'll want to cut that out and you just need it to be long enough to cover the inside of the envelope.  Use a corner punch to create the rounded point.

I love this corner rounder set, both sizes are perfect for your corner rounding needs!  For this envelope we used the 1/2" size.

This is quick and easy and has a lot of impact for any invitation or card!  Here is a wedding sample set that we have currently displayed in the stores.wedding

We recently also received this new toole that comes in a variety of colors!  I love the width!  Our tree rose stamp is one of those classic images that can be used for so many projects.  It's been one of my favorites from the spring line!

I've embossed with it, sponged with color (like the invitation set about), I've watercolored with it.  It's a great stamp with lots of potential!
