Stripes, stripes and more stripes! This stripe stamp has been in our collection for years and I love to re-use stamps and give it new life with something as simple as color. Our new Fresh Ink colors are my favorite. The new greens are amazing and they all work together so well. Here are a few color combinations using succulent, persimmon and blush. The darker green is aloe, another favorite!

We have an exciting weekend coming up with our Annual Paper Palooza Sale and it's also a good time to check out all 11 new colors of Fresh Ink that just arrived in the store.
Leafprints of fresh foliage from Jean's yard capture the essence of summer on garden cards and a matching portfolio. Each set includes 6 cards/envelopes and a portfolio, perfect for gifts throughout the year. Trim the prints using Jean's template and a paper trimmer - or bring a diecut machine, plates and rectangular templates if you prefer to diecut them. We are getting ready for our Annual Holiday Open House this Saturday, August 20th! Here are a few cards that we are working on. We will have a goodie bag for the first 25 customers at each store, demonstrations and lots of holiday goodies! We also have a class that you can pre-register for on Saturday at well. We created a few new cards using Gelatos and we thought we would share our tricks to using them. For those that haven't used Gelatos before, they are compact acid-free pigment sticks that glide on creamy smooth for vibrant color and coverage. All Gelatos blend easily with or without water and can be used on paper, canvas, or wood!
On the examples above, we added water to both to create a smoother, blended look. For the aqua flower card, the flowers were stamped in Versamark black ink because that doesn't smudge when you add water and then the Gelato was rubbed all over in the outer spaces. We used the smooth Neenah paper since it has the least amount of texture. The Gelato first goes on the paper, kind of chalk-like but then we used a wet baby wipe to blend the color on the card and give a more smooth appearance. We even dipped the baby wipe in a little bit of water to really get the Gelato to blend on the paper.
For the pink flower card, we used water color paper and colored the flower but then instead of using a baby wipe, we sprayed a fine mist of water and the Gelato blended on the paper as the paper dried.

Pretty Pink Posh has a new release! There are new sequins that are only 3mm across - these are the smallest we've seen. You can also find new clear sets and dies!
As always, this release is full of cuteness and they continue to create dies that are innovative for many creative cards! I can't wait to see what we come up with for these new items in the store.
