Amber, one of our design team members shared her holiday photo card with us. Besides being a mom and working at Impress two days a week, Amber is a photographer. She took this shot of her daughter and then had the photo professionally printed on matte paper. To embellish, she then embossed the greeting stamp with white embossing powder and added a metallic touch using a Savvy DIY wreath die and mirror paper. Thanks for sharing Amber.

Washi tape just arrived!
We love washi tape and get so excited when a new shipment arrives! There's always a few new one's in the box that we haven't carried before. I think this black typewriter tape is one of my favorites from the season.
You may notice on the snowglobe card that the tape doesn't look as wide. You're right, I ended up trimming it! It looks a little better with it not being so wide and it's easy to do with your scissors. I think this tape could be fun on a tag or a small package. Thanks for visiting!

Watercolor Technique
The Koi watercolor set is a really nice set! It's compact and the colors are perfect. It comes with a palette to mix colors along with a brush that holds water making it perfect to travel with too.
You can even watercolor on the back of stamps! Of course, some stamps will work better than others based on how much detail. This wreath stamp was created specifically so that the end result would look watercolored instead of hand stamped. We used the paint to color onto the back of the stamp and then stamped onto watercolor paper. We love Tim Holtz Watercolor Cardstock!

We admit it. We're a little crazy about our Seahawk team here in Seattle. We got these great stamps made by Clearsnap. They have other teams too! Sandy Allnock made a fun video showing 12 cards she made for her postal carrier. She also shows two upcoming classes she's teaching at Impress. Thanks Sandy for sharing your creative talents.

Lawn Fawn Monster Mash
I love this Halloween set by Lawn Fawn! I used my Koi watercolor set to color in the monster and to create a cloud around the words. My other favorite product used on this card is the die set from Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Duo 2. This die is an easy way to create depth to the card without extra layering.
There are so many creative possibilities with this set! Halloween is right around the corner!
