This clear stamp set by Mama Elephant - Arctic Penguins is so adorable!  To create the sky I sponged using a mini blending tool.  Ink colors:  Memento Ink Pads - summer sky and zeal teal.  The white snow was done by hand using my favorite white pen!  It's the best and never clogs.

The gold paints are a new product and are amazing!  They are from Germany and made with mica.  You can use it to watercolor, paint or even use with your pointed calligraphy pen!

We admit it. We're a little crazy about our Seahawk team here in Seattle. We got these great stamps made by Clearsnap. They have other teams too! I love this Halloween set by Lawn Fawn!  I used my Koi watercolor set to color in the monster and to create a cloud around the words.  My other favorite product used on this card is the die set from Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Duo 2.   This die is an easy way to create depth to the card without extra layering.

There are so many creative possibilities with this set!  Halloween is right around the corner!

We have brads for almost every occasion!  They are a lot of fun to use on cards and various projects.  Here are a few cards using the pirate hat and ship brads that just arrived at the store!

We wanted to take a minute to show you our behind the scenes shipping department!  It's all possible with the help of several efficient crew members but here is the main driving force behind it all.  Our one and only - Marianne!She can get a lot done in a day!  We send a hand stamped "thank you" card with every package.

Thank goodness we have a great mail person!  He comes several times a day to pick up boxes!

We love to add texture to a card by using an embossing folder. This one is called "woodgrain" and it's one of our favorites, especially this time of year. Sometimes- we just like the look of embossed texture as is but this time we thought it would be fun to enhance it with silver metallic gelatos. Want to duplicate this look? Emboss your paper and then take the gelatos and gently rub the creamy pigment against any raised surface. Use a light touch as you don't want to completely cover the trees. After the gelatos is applied, wet your finger and smooth out the silver color. The more you  rub, the more shimmer you'll get.

The joy and little red bird are Savvy dies.

Do you love washi tape? Then this wood necessities set from My Mind's Eye is a great one to add to your collection. We've found lots of creative uses for it already. For this card we lay a few strips of the tape down side by side and then diecut it with Savvy's peace die. Notice the bottom on this card - it's one of our new favorite stamps called sprinkled snow but as you can see, when stamped in a colored ink it becomes ground.

On this next card we used the tape to make a background fitting for the antler die..   We'll be using this tape a lot for fall cards. If you're loving the wood look, you might also like the coordinating wood designer paper.

Here are a few card ideas using our new featured item!  Lifestyle Crafts has released several new embossing templates and they have switched up the size, making them more card friendly.  The one used below is called: Script Embossing Folder and you get 2 styles in one!

On the card above, I lightly rubbed pigment ink (neon, coral) over the embossed paper to give a distressed look.

We had the pleasure to watch an artist use these neon pens at the New York Stationary Show and it was truly inspiring.  They are gellyroll pens and glide on the paper when you write with them!

It's easy to add a hint of neon to any project.  I love the look of the neon on the chalk washi tape!
